Sable is a character from the Animal Crossing series who works in a shop with her two sisters Mable and Labelle. Labelle works on one side of the shop while Mable is on the other side with Sable.
Whenever the player walk into the Able Sisters's shop, Sable simply stays in the backround and creates new outfits to put on sale. It takes time for her to warm up to the player, but gradually, she becomes much friendlier.
Mable, when apologizing for Sable's apparent lack of sociability, claims, "Oh! I apologize! Sable is always like that when she's focusing on something."
Bonding[]
Becoming friends with Sable is a gradual process. She is very shy towards the player and, for the first few days, doesn't speak much. Eventually, though, she becomes your friend and even opens up about her past experiences. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, she will give you a Q.R. code sometime after befriending her.
