Pokémaniacs are Pokémon trainers that debuted in Generation I and have made their final appearance to date in Generation IV in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. They were originally depicted as strange boys in trenchcoats but as of Generation III cosplay as monsters. As their image in later games suggests, they use Pokémon of the Monster Egg Group.
